PINK SYNC Fitness | September 19 | Millcreek Commons
PINK SYNC Fitness brings together physicians and movement specialists to explore the benefits of exercise in breast cancer recovery and recurrence prevention, while providing practical tools to improve strength, mobility, and whole-body function.

Dr Roma Bhatia MD MPH
Dr. Roma Bhatia, MD, is a breast medical oncologist and Assistant Professor in the Division of Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah and Investigator at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. She specializes in the care of individuals with all states of breast cancer, with a particular interest in cancer survivorship, geriatric oncology, and the cognitive and physical effects for cancer treatment. Her research has been funded through the Center for Investigational Therapeutics at the University of Utah and through federal grants from the Health Resources and Services Administration.
Dr. Bhatia's research focuses on improving quality of life and functional outcomes for patients, including the use of exercise and supportive interventions to address common side effects from cancer treatments including chemotherapy related cognitive impairment, cancer fatigue, and recovery after therapy. Through both her clinical and research work, she aims to bridge scientific discovery with compassionate, patient-centered care.
She believes in partnering closely with her patients to help them make informed choices and navigate the challenges of cancer with dignity, understanding, and hope.

Dr Taylor Wolf
Dr. Taylor Wolf helps active adults get out of the cycle of pain, rest, and flare-ups so they can keep doing what they love. His care is built for people who want more than a quick adjustment or a temporary fix.
At Elevated Sport and Spine, every visit is one-on-one and built around finding what’s actually driving the irritation, then fixing it with a plan that holds up in real life. Most patients follow a simple 3-step process: calm pain and restore comfortable motion, retrain how you move so the issue stops coming back, then strengthen the new pattern so you can return to golf, skiing, training, and everyday life with confidence.
Dr. Wolf is certified through TPI (Level 1 and Medical Level 2), trained with PRI, and uses dry needling when it helps speed up progress. Translation: you get a performance-minded approach that treats the root cause, not just the symptom. He serves Millcreek, Utah and works with people who want to move better, hurt less, and stay active for the long run.
Start with a one-on-one evaluation and we’ll map out exactly what’s driving the problem and the fastest path to fixing it.

Denise Druce
Denise has spent over four decades helping people move, breathe, and heal—from high-energy aerobics in the ’80s to yoga that reaches the heart. A Master of Public Health and yoga therapist, she’s co-founder of Yoga Forward, a nonprofit bringing yoga to underserved communities and even behind prison walls.
After facing a recurrence of Stage 4 cancer, Denise says it became her greatest teacher—deepening her compassion and her purpose to help others rise. Known to her students as “The Elevator,” Denise lifts everyone around her to a higher place of strength, joy, and peace. She lives in Salt Lake City with her husband Michael and their dog Bella.

Dr Annie Bryner
Dr. Annie Bryner is a licensed sex and trauma therapist who helps individuals and couples navigate life-altering experiences that shake their sense of safety, identity, and connection. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human development, a Master of Social Work, and a doctorate in Clinical Sexology. Annie has worked extensively with survivors of complex trauma and life-threatening illness, as well as their partners. Her work integrates research on attachment, nervous system regulation, and post-traumatic growth to help survivors and their loved ones rebuild safety, strengthen emotional connection, and cultivate resilient intimacy at a pace that feels safe and right for them. She and her husband Lee have seven adult children, 2 grandchildren (with 2 more on the way) and 2 adorable little maltese-mix dogs.

Mike Buckner
Mike Buckner is a husband, father, and executive leader whose life has been shaped by both personal adversity and the impact of cancer. In 2012, he navigated a divorce, job loss, and the heartbreaking loss of his brother to cancer—experiences that reshaped his perspective on resilience, faith, and what matters most.
Years later, after marrying his wife, Carly, Mike faced cancer again when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Walking beside her through treatment and recovery became one of the most challenging—and transformative—seasons of his life, deepening his understanding of courage, partnership, and strength in the face of uncertainty.
Mike is the father of two daughters and twin boys, and he and Carly recently celebrated 10 years of marriage. Professionally, he serves as Executive VP of Revenue at Pearl, an AI technology company in the dental industry. Personally, he is passionate about sharing perspective from the spouse’s seat—offering insight, hope, and encouragement to families navigating life’s hardest battles together.

Cami Kapp
Cami Kapp is a breast cancer survivor and the founder of PINK SYNC, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that no woman faces breast cancer alone. After her own diagnosis, Cami saw firsthand that while treatment fights the disease, patients also need connection, emotional support, and trusted resources to navigate the journey.
She created PINK SYNC to build that community—bringing patients together with each other, with specialists, and with the support they need to move forward with strength and hope.
Cami also serves as a research advocate with the Breast & Gynecologic Research Advocate Committee at Huntsman Cancer Institute, helping ensure that the patient voice is represented in cancer research and survivorship efforts.
Above all, Cami is passionate about people, faith, and strengthening others through life’s hardest experiences. She and her husband, Josh, have been married for 30 years and are raising four children.
