Megan Johnson, MPH, MBA, BSN, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Spanish Fork Hospital within Intermountain Health and a passionate advocate for patient-centered care, women’s health, and relationship-driven leadership. With more than two decades in healthcare, Megan began her career in hospital housekeeping before pursuing nursing and advancing through clinical, operational, and executive leadership roles grounded in service, trust, and community connection.

A proud graduate of Utah Valley University, Megan earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2005 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008, followed by a Master of Public Health in 2014 and a Master of Business Administration in 2025. Her leadership philosophy is deeply influenced by her nursing roots, emphasizing compassion, accountability, collaboration, and staying connected to one’s “why.”

This past year, Megan navigated her own breast cancer journey while continuing to lead professionally, giving her an even deeper appreciation for resilience, vulnerability, advocacy, and the power of compassionate care. Her personal experience has strengthened her commitment to supporting women’s health by empowering them to show up authentically for themselves through both personal and professional challenges. Known for her fierce loyalty to caregivers, community, and passion for developing others, Megan believes the strongest leaders are those who lead with courage, relationships, and heart and that a good hug can be a superpower, offering connection, comfort, and humanity in moments when people need it most.

 

Outside of healthcare leadership, Megan is a devoted wife and mother of two teenage boys. She enjoys their sports (basketball & baseball), running, traveling, and spending time with her family and community.
